 Shapes
Here is a selection of the possible shapes. The standard size for a headstone is 2'3" high by 1'9" wide by 3" thick, on a base 2' wide by 1' deep. Other sizes can be used in accordance with local regulations. A headstone can be fitted directly into the ground, with no plinth and if this is the case, it is usually 3" taller, giving the same overall height.

The memorial base can accommodate a flower container positioned centrally or to one side.
